Actually, he has two types of kisses he gives--the sweet one and the semi-scary one. The sweet kiss is a traditional smooch. He says "Mmmmm" and touches his lips to your cheek, arm, forehead, etc.
But then there is the nose kiss, which is his favorite type to give. He takes his hands and places them on either side of my (or Kate's) face (so we can't get away?), or if we are not looking at him, he turns our head so that we are. He then opens his mouth wide and very slowly leans toward my nose. (That would be the scary part. His eyes open wide, too, and it seems like he is going to maul me.) He then puts his mouth on my nose for a second and finally pulls away. Okay, he actually kind of bites us when he does it, but he does it very lightly and sweetly, so you can tell he is being careful not to inflict harm when he does it. To make it even sweeter, he usually does it right before he goes to sleep.

Jack always wants to help us sweep, so Kate took apart the Swiffer and made it "Jack-size." All he wants to do now is clean the floors. With a heavy-shedding Black Puppy running around, I am not complaining.
The ultimate in multi-tasking--Swiffering and mowing at the same time.
