We were a little worried whether Jack would sit still long enough, but he did wonderful. He was quiet and held relatively still through the entire ordeal. Okay, so he did try to dance while she was trying to cut, and all the bright colors and other children had him moving his head all around, but what do you expect from a 14-month old?
Here is the little man looking cool and suave with his new 'do. You can also see that he is thoroughly enjoying his first sucker. (Yeah, Kate and I are so mean for denying him this tasty treat before.) The stylist asked if it was okay if she gave him a sucker. We said yes, assuming that they stocked safety suckers. We were a little alarmed when she handed Jack a regular one, but before we could say anything, it was in his mouth and his eyes had an enthusiastic glint to them. So, we (nervously) kept a close eye on Jack and let him enjoy his little treat. Doesn't he look like such a big boy with his freshly shorn look, complete with product in his hair?

Before you know it, he'll be addicted to "product." Gabriel still askes for it, on days when he wants to look particulaly cool. "Mom, can you put some product in my hair?" It's like he's a little frat boy in a 5 year-old's body! Great photos! Jack's getting so big!!
Actually, Kate and I were reminded of your blog stories of Gabriel wanting product when the stylist said she was putting something in Jack's hair. We started laughing and Kate said, he is getting "product!"
Awww...Too cute!!!
