-Kate and Jack visited her family in Greenville for Pa's birthday.
-It snowed.
-Kate celebrated her thirtieth birthday.
-We had a birthday bash for Kate that involved (among other things) chocolate brownie truffles, a chocolate ganache torte, a pastel de quatro leches (Mmmmm), a chocolate fountain, and three gallons of Sangria.
-It snowed some more.
-I had two midterms and turned in three large projects. (Don't get me started on them all being due at once. I have nothing due until the end of the semester, now.)
-It snowed again.
-We went to Indianapolis for a weekend to see some friends.
-Jack puked all over Kate and the hotel room in Indianapolis and did not sleep the entire weekend.
-It snowed yet again.
-My commute time increased by twentyish minutes each way (on I-94) because of construction on I-75. Did I say construction? Completely closing a stretch both ways for two years, I should say.
-(Kate thinks it might have snowed again somewhere in here, too.)
-I escaped having to serve jury duty.
-And then it snowed some more.

Why does Kate have a somewhat evil smile on her face? Because unbeknownst to me she was teaching Jack how to make and throw a snowball. I was the target.
Why the smug look on my face? Because I was teaching Jack the fine art of revenge.

Oh my god, I can't believe you almost got jury duty! Talk about a near miss! I hope that, at the very least, the snow canceled at least one class.
I'm so glad I did not have to report. We had Kate's mom on standby to watch Jack, I had to have someone on standby to teach my class, and so on.
All my classes met. This is even with it being so bad one night that the my professor was 45 minutes late to class and it took me twice as long to get home. Oh well.
