I guess I am off the market--Kate found my ring! In Homer and Frankie's pee spot. Hmmmm.
I said she was the best wife in the world for finding it.
She said it was self preservation.
Homer thought it was some form of target practice.
My question: Does this mean it does not count as the third bad thing and something else is going to break in our house?

YAY! So glad you found it. Maybe one of the dogs ate it? I'd say that finding it in a pee spot is still a bad thing, so it counts as your third one. Now, go and get some really good disinfectant and jewelry cleaner, and get that ring back on!
I wondered about one of the dogs eating it too, but as Kate pointed out it was...too clean and no where near a pile of poo.
Disinfectant? You mean I was supposed to wash it before putting it on?
I am glad you found your ring, Joe. Jerry (Amy's dad) lost his ring a week or so before our trip to San Antonio and has been really down about it. I found it yesterday afternoon behind his favorite chair. He was so happy! I agree with your analysis of the loss - it's not the cost. It's the symbolism. Feels good to have it back on your finger, doesn't it?
Beth (Amy's mom)
Glad you found it! I bet Kate will glue it on your hand now!
