For the parents that read my blog...
In case you have not heard there is a big crib recall going on for Jardine cribs. We did not know anything about it until Kate's mom called to tell us. And Jack's crib is one of the ones recalled.
I think there is more information on the Babies 'R Us website and at the Jardine website. Hopefully, we are the only ones it affected. Good luck!

Oh darn, our crib is also recalled. We actually just transitioned Hannah into a toddler bed about 2-3 months ago, but we were keeping the crib for later use when we have more kids. Bummer, it's a beautiful crib.
Yeah, if it wasn't for the possibility of more kids in the future it would not be that big of a deal. I'm still confused about whether we get the same crib (just not breakable) or if we have to pick out a completely different one.
I filled out the form and it sounds like they will be sending us some type of package to return to them (I assume to maybe send them the sticker from the crib to show proof of purchase) and then they will give us a voucher towards another Jardine crib of our choice. I wonder if we have to purchase it within a certain amount of time - I feel weird shopping for a crib when we aren't even expecting another kid yet.
