We took off for Oberlin this weekend to visit with our good friends the Rousts. While there, we decided to visit the Cleveland Zoo, since...we like zoos.
We had to hang out around the giraffe area, of course. We got to see a couple of giraffes "kissing," which Jack thought this was pretty cool. He kept saying, "Gaffes kiss! Wuv you gaffes!"
Almost, but not quite, as cool as the giraffes (for Jack) was feeding the Lorikeets. A grumpy lady came out of the little Lorikeet area with some nectar complaining about the stupid birds not wanting to eat. We had no problem.

Kate says I should explain that the Zebra and Koala bear were fast asleep. I thought the Zzzzzzs gave it away, but maybe not.
