Homer seems to be feeling better. First thing he did yesterday morning was try to play with the cat. Of course, he has to put up with Jack making fun of him. Jack was limping/hopping around Monday night yelling, "I hop like Homer!"
Oh, and have you ever tried to convince a 120 lb dog to soak its foot in warm soapy water? Not fun.

And for those of you who have been thinking, "What about Peanut?" She is doing fine. Kate had a checkup yesterday, and both her and the baby are well. (Of course, Kate is not looking forward to the upcoming glucosamine test. I think that is what it is called...)
Kate's OB cracks us up. Kate asked her yesterday if it was okay to drink a little coffee now and then. The OB replied, "Sure! Everything in moderation. As long as you don't snort cocaine or go bungee jumping, anything you do in moderation is fine with me!"

Ah yes the glucose test. Yuck. Not only does it taste awful but I can tell you from experience that if you fail the first one, you get to do it again but this time it's on an empty stomach. I couldn't decide if the rush of sugar made me want to pass out or throw up. Ugh.
Tell her good luck!
Kate has corrected me. It's a "Glucose Tolerance Test."
She had to do it a second time with Jack, too. She says it was the "most miserable experience of her entire pregnancy."
Well I had to have surgery while 15 weeks pregnant with Hannah so that wins for my most miserable experience of pregnancy but retaking that glucose test was most definitely in 2nd place.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that she doesn't have to take the 3 hour test this time too!
