Our Last Trip Until After Peanut Is Born?

Since we had driven down to Greenville to see our new niece, we thought we might as well drive the final two hours down to Greensburg for my Grandpa Weber's 80th birthday party. By "we," I mean Jack and I. Kate was exhausted to begin with (you know, the whole eight months pregnant thing) so she stayed at her parents to rest. Jack and I drove down Saturday night, went to church with the entire family Sunday morning--aunts, uncles, cousins, and all--and then went to lunch. A photographer had been hired to take pictures, and as soon as they were done, Jack and I hopped in the car, drove to Greenville to pick up Kate, and then straight home. We were all pretty exhausted when we got home, but it was worth it.
Poor Jack was so tired, but he was such a good boy. He even made it through the entirety of his first ever church service. I think Kate was worried that I would have a rough time since she wasn't there, but we did okay.
When we called Kate Saturday night, Jack got on the phone and yelled, "Mommy! I go Gram'ma and Gram'pa and I lost you! I lost you Mommy!" On Sunday he kept walking up to everyone and telling them that "My Mommy is at my NeNe's."
My favorite moments (of Jack) at the church service involved singing. When the first song was sung, the chorus leader said "Turn to your bulletin and let's sing..." Jack yelled out "The Wiggles!"
Later, another song was being sung and Jack decided to join in. Since he did not know the words, he broke out into "The Wheels on the Bus." We were amused.

Jack spent a lot of time at the restaurant playing with our cousins Daniel and Alexis.
Of course, "Unc" Chris kept him entertained, too.

About every picture combination imaginable was taken. Jack had to ham it up in everyone, of course. He always yells "Cheese!" loudly when a picture is being taken. Someone suggested that he say "Cheeseburger" instead. Somebody else suggested "Cheesebooger." When Jack heard this, he got his stinker grin and jammed his finger up his nose. I really hope the photographer got that picture.

Apparently Parker loves to sing in church as well. We took her to church Christmas Eve and as soon as would start singing she would join in with "ooohhhhhh." It was so ridiculous that the people around us were laughing.
