Sitting and Talking

Okay, so the talking part is stretching it a bit. We swear she says "Hi!" She actually has been doing this for a while. We will say "Hi" to her first thing in the morning or after a nap and she will say it back in the same inflection. Other people besides Kate and I have heard it too, so we aren't completely crazy. Granted, I think she is just mimicking the sound and does not really know what she is saying.

Kate will be trying to get her to say "Mama" by repeating "Mama Mama Mama" over and over again. Jack usually runs up when she is doing this repeats "JackWeberJackWeberJackWeber."
Of course sometimes it will be "FrankieFrankieFrankie" and today when Kate was saying "Mama" he repeated "Semi-truckSemi-truckSemi-truck."

She is very close to sitting on her own. Friday morning in our hotel room (we were at Kate's cousin's wedding, more on that later) she sat for a full 15 seconds. She has the strength, just not the balance. She has done it a few more times since on the floor, each time a little longer.
