What We Usually Do...Go To the Zoo

We really wanted to take Jack to a tractor show in Greensburg this weekend, but I needed a weekend at home as I had way too much work around the house to get done. We decided he needed something to do that was fun, so we took him to the zoo for the afternoon since it's his favorite place to go.

He's really starting to look like a handsome little boy and not a cute toddler lately...

Jack really wanted a butterfly to land on him, so he walked around the butterfly house with his index finger pointing. The funny thing is a bunch of other little girls his age and a little older saw him doing it and before long there were all these little kids walking around with their fingers in the air, hopeful of a butterfly landing.

I tried to convince him that butterflies do not come on command, but he wouldn't believe me.

Amelie just enjoyed hanging out in the Orange Chariot people watching.

A very tired (but very happy) boy at the end of the trip.
