Here is just a glimpse of Christmas morning craziness. Amelie was up and ready to go at 5:30. I had an awful time keeping her out of the presents and finally had to go wake up Jack and Kate because she could not stand it any longer. I swore it would have been the other way around.
Jack is old enough now to be very excited about Santa Claus. And he seemed to have gotten everything he wanted. Well, he keeps pointing out that Santa forgot to get him snow boots. And he did keep asking for a big Barbie doll house, which Santa decided the "Big Bad Princess" really did not need.
Bug was very excited about his new Geo Trax train.
There is nothing like a little family doggy love on Christmas morning.
I'll admit, once I opened my new Mark Bittman cookbook, I zoned out what was going on around me.
Amelie's favorite part of her purse was the money. I believe she is doing a happy dance here after pulling it out.
Uncle Chris decided playing train with Jack would be more fun than smooching the dog. I, on the other hand, was drinking coffee so fast I became a blur.
Jack was rather proud of the "Monkey Sock" he picked out for Amelie.
Amelie some how ended up in the middle of all the presents and paper. She loved it.
