The Big News (We're Moving, Not Pregnant)

Our first day at Disney we approached the big sign, Jack was beside himself excited and talking a mile a minute...and Kate's cell phone rang. It was Christ Hospital in Cincinnati offering her a new job. What a reason to celebrate at The Magic Kingdom!
(Okay, the funniest part of the day was when they tried calling her again while we were in line for "It's a Small World")

Kate informed her boss today that she would be leaving, so I am allowed to break the news. We will be moving to Cincinnati (well, probably a suburb) in March.

Since we have no idea how long it will take our house to sell, we will have to cram move into an apartment until it does. The big downside of this is we have to give up Homer until we are able to get a house. 115 lb dogs tend not to be apartment friendly. I'm terribly upset about this, but he is going to stay with Kate's parents, who have a farm, so he will be well taken care of.

Apart from that, though, we are elated. We will be much closer to family, including some of whom live in Cincy. It will be wonderful to be a part of our family's lives and not just see them a few times a year. This will mean we also get to see our friends from Butler more, whom we have pretty much ignored since we moved up here because all of our free weekends have been taken up with seeing family.

Yikes. Now to get every thing packed and the house ready to sell...

Hey! I lived in Cinti for 3 years (in Price Hill - where you should NOT live). Let me know if I can help with anything!!
