Jack's Two Month Dr. Visit.

On Thursday Jack had his two-month checkup. At his last Doctor's visit, he cried the entire time. This time, though, he had fun. Well, until the unpleasant ending. Jack discovered that the sanitary paper runner that they put on the examination table is lots of fun. We laid him on it and he got a big smile when it made the crinkly noise. When Jack gets excited, he kicks his feet and waves his arms. The smart boy realized that by doing this the fun paper made even more noise. So for the ten minutes we had to wait for the Pediatrician, he smiled and talked while wiggling around on the paper. This little game put him in a good mood for the Dr.--until the nurses pulled out the needles. Yes, the poor little boy had to get his two-month immunizations, which means he had to get three shots. This really pissed him off. He mostly got over the fright of the shots, but he was cranky for a couple of days from the side effects.

His doctor said he looks very healthy. He now weighs 12.5 lbs and is almost 24 inches long. She said he is in the 50-75 percentile for both his height and weight. We could of told her that he is growing fast, since he is rapidly starting to outgrow his onesies. Big Boy!
