Kate got back from California late Wednesday/early Thursday after being going since Saturday. Jack and I really missed her, and we are glad to have her back. I love being with the boy, but that was a long time to be with a baby with no relief--especially a teething one. Jack's top left eye tooth is coming in and it seems to be bothering him worse than the last two. (He was the grumpiest I have every seen him today.) Luckily, Kate's mom came up Tuesday afternoon and stayed until Thursday morning to watch Jack while I taught, ran errands, and went to gamelan. But nothing takes the place of Mommy!
