People are starting to harass me about the lack of posts, so I guess I had better get back to work. Since we returned from the Thanksgiving weekend away, life has been rather busy. Last week was spent getting the house back in order after two four-day weekends away as well as prepping for end of the semester stuff for my Washtenaw class. And Kate has been in California since Saturday, leaving Jack (who is working on a new tooth) and me home alone--more on that in the next post.
We had a lovely time visiting both sides of my family and my best friend H.R. (in Indianapolis) for Thanksgiving. I have tons of pictures to post, which I will either put on Photosite or someplace similar. (My free quota on Photosite is almost used up.) For now, be content with a couple of my favorite pics from the weekend posted below.
For having his routine completely interrupted and being passed around amongst the various aunts and cousins, Jack behaved exceptionally well for all of the family. Kate and I were very proud of what a little angel he was. Of course, stinker-babe came out in full force once we got back, but that was to be expected.
Jack and Rose having a serious Thanksgiving conversation.
Jack finds a quiet spot on a table to stretch out and relax at my Grandma Maxwell's Thanksgiving extravaganza. Can you tell he is tired?
I think this picture of my mom with Jack is very sweet.
