Wait, Is He a Toddler or a Teenager?

Jack was in grumpy mood most of today. I'm blaming it on the fact that he has a cold and hasn't been sleeping the best. (Of course, that means I haven't, either.) Last night, though, his snarkiness had me laughing very hard. Well, I held it in the best I could. We usually make bread, rolls, biscuits, etc. with dinner, and they are his favorite part. If he had his way, some nights bread would be all he would eat. So, we sometimes use it as a way to get him to eat his other food. If it is something he does not really like, we just make him take one bite. (C'mon, we're not that mean.)
Anyway, last night Kate told him that if he wanted bread he had to finish his rice, which he usually really likes. As he began eating it, he let out a huge sigh and muttered (loudly), "This is ridiculous."

I had no clue he even knew that word. It sounded hilarious coming from a two-year old, though.

Yes! My favorite toddler vocab word ever! Christopher's nephew told me I was ridiculous when I explained to him that "window shopping" isn't the same as "shopping for windows."
