Jack and Amelie were playing in the pantry last night, as they usually do while I make dinner. Jack seemed more industrious than usual, and started making a pile of very specific foods.
"Mommy, I need a bag."
"Why Jack?"
"I'm packing your lunch for work and dessert after lunch."
"Okay..."
"I'll put it here by the door so you don't forget it.
"How about you put it in my purse?"
And being a good Mommy, she did take it. She said she would eat it all. Eventually.
Well, she did sneak the popcorn back into the pantry.
"Mommy, I need a bag."
"Why Jack?"
