We were in the car the other day when "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" popped up on the iPod. Kate started singing along, only replacing "Lucy" with "Lily. Rather than smiling or singing along, Amelie shouted "Daddy!"
Kate: Ok. Daddy in the sky with diamonds
A: No, Daddy!
Kate: You want Daddy to sing?
Me: Lily in the sky with diamonds...
A: No! Wee-wee wih Daddy!"
Kate: Ooohhh. Lily in the sky with Daddy.
Amelie then smiled and clapped and "sung" along.
My heart melted a bit.
