Kate was excited for Amelie to help her decorate Christmas cookies this year. It took awhile for her to get the hang of it, though. After sprinkling a few decorations on, she kept saying (demanding), "I wan' eat tewtie, now!"
She eventually figured out that she was not getting any and reluctantly kept her mouth away from them.
When she did finally get to eat one after dinner, she smiled and yelled, "Oh, yeah!" (Think somewhere between Duffman and the Yello song and you have how it sounded.)
Jack was an old pro and knew what to do.
He did not try to eat any and kept his face...um, Jack what are you doing?
"They just smell so good Daddy!"
Actually, he was very serious about it and did a good job.
