Christmas Program Quickie

Jack had his Christmas concert at his school yesterday. We were a bit irked that they scheduled it for 10:30 in the morning, which meant Kate (and other parents) had to take off work to go to it. And then they refused to cancel it for weather. Every other school (including the public school across the street) and daycare in the area was closed. Jack was so excited to sing in his concert that we could not let him miss it. So we slid down the hills in our SUV to his school to hear him sing "Rudolph," "Jingle Bells," and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."

I am not posting any pictures of him performing for two reasons. First, I feel kind of weird about posting pictures of kids who I don't know. And then there were the rude parents who were all standing in front of us so those of us who were short and in the back could not see. (Seriously, if everyone had sat, everyone could have seen.) Kate and I stood on chairs so that we could see, but our pictures/video did not turn out the best.

Jack was pretty proud of his new dress up clothes. He is excited to wear them again.

Amelie was also excited to hear Jack sing. I took some pictures of her while we were waiting. Looking back at the pictures it struck me how much she is looking like a little girl and not a baby anymore.
