The Holidays Are Over, Now What?

I guess it makes sense that if her castle was for ponies and not the people, then Amelie's new stroller is not for babies, either. She buckled the ponies in herself.

Our little family band.
Me: It's a drum circle!
Jack: No, it's a marching band!
Amelie: Dums!

Someone knits you a blanket, you make a b'ito.

Jack: It's an army blanket! You can't see me!

The gift that Jack wanted the most for Christmas (aside from the $400 power wheels jeep) were "big boy" Legos. He got them, and luckily Uncle Andrew visited to show him how to build them.

I cringe looking in the background of the pictures I have taken over the past week.

Kate: It looks like Toys 'R Us exploded in here.
Me:  Hmm, I was getting ready to say it looks like Geoffrey the Giraffe just took a big toy dump in our living room.

Aunt Tina was really sweet and read a truly awful children's book Amelie picked out at the library.
