So here is a compiled list of all the suggestions for a middle name given in the comments. (At the bottom of the post.) Grace was easily the "winner." Sorry, but we will not be using it. :) Kate likes it, and it is my cousin's daughter's middle name. But because it is so popular is probably why it was struck down. (Not because we're heathens Mrs. Amy I'm-going-to-suggest-heaven-spelled-backwards Roust.) Of course, one of the names we are considering is extremely popular too, so I suppose that blows that argument. So yeah, I just flat out vetoed it in our name discussions. And for those of you that were concerned about doing without a first name (I did reveal it's three syllables), all the names suggested flow well and would work. Well, that's my opinion. I'm sure some would not fit into Kate's rules.
Kate and I did have a nice chuckle because a couple of names suggested are or have been on our consideration list. Some of you may know us a little too well, it seems.
Kate has kind of held out that the first name was not completely set in stone until the baby comes. But the one other person besides us that does know what we want to name her (first name) pretty much made it official today.
Previously, any time we "tried out" the name on her, Jack would give us a funny look, point to Kate's tummy and say, "That not ******, that Peanut." (Pronounced "Peeeanut") This afternoon, though, I was buying him some Swipers and picked up a pack of wipes for Peanut as well. Jack said, "We no need those. We have some in the cart."
"These are for your little sister when she gets here," I told him.
"Oh." He thought for a couple of seconds and then said in a super-sweet voice, "Those for my ******?"

I didn't know what Kate's middle name was, but Susanne is lovely, and since Jack's got yours, it's only fair.
Actually, Suzanne was one of my suggestions...I was all for fairness too!
I like Isabelle.
If the first name is 3 syllables, I suggest 1 syllable for the middle name so my vote goes with Rose (since you vetoed Grace). I like Brooke as well, even though I must have forgotten to put it in with my original suggestions. GL deciding!
I think 2 syllables or one are okay with three syllables. Haven't come up with any 3 and 3 that I like though.
I have to say Janelle and Suzanne are my favorites in the top ten. If you need a new one I would say Angel. :) I'm sure we will all think she is one :). Heathens or not!!!
Does "******" mean the first name has 6 letters?!?!
Jeez Emily, next thing we know you will be calling Jack to try and pry the name out of him. It's just a month more!
OK, I know I'm going to sound like an idiot, but I had no idea that Neveah was heaven spelled backwards! I just thought it sounded cool.
someone is mistaken, it is hae so it isn't heaven spelled backwards or it would be hea
