Granted, she still topples after a little while, but she is sitting unsupported longer everyday. Yes, she will fall backwards, but primarily when she falls over it is because she sees a toy she wants and dives for it.
She is also rolling all around now too. She finally decided the weekend before last that it was easier to get to the toys she wanted by rolling. We knew she was capable before, but she just did not seem interested. Granted, she is not quite as excited as Jack was about rolling, yet, but she does manage to leave her play-mat.
Not only is she rolling, but she scoots around as well. For the past couple of weeks she would lay on her back and inchworm her way backwards. Now she is doing it forwards on her tummy, too--sort of an army crawl. She does not go far, but she is moving.
I think she wants to be up and playing with Jack, so she is trying her hardest to get moving. Jack thinks it is great so far, but he doesn't know what he is in for when she does start following him around.
