Jack finally had his three-year check-up last week. (It's a long story why it was so late.) He is healthy, if a little small. He is 36.5 inches and weighs 29.5 lbs.

We tried to start a tradition awhile back of making homemade pizza at least a couple times a month. The fun part being that each of us makes our own customized pizza the way we like. With the end of grad school and such, we kind of let it fall by the wayside, much to the chagrin of Jack who loves making pizza. We decided last week that we need to make more of an effort since he enjoys it.
Here is Jack hard at work on his pizza.
I think he eats as much, if not more, of the toppings while he is making it as he does after the pizza is made.
Since Amelie couldn't have any, she looked for the nearest circular object to maul.

Kate and I ended up with the exact same toppings on our pizza (for once), so ours turned out rather boring. I should have made them with different cheeses as they kind of have a Yin and Yang look.
